Description

A hearty and creamy beef casserole topped with sharp cheddar cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 lbs beef steak, cubed
  • 4 large potatoes, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, melt the butter and cook the onion and garlic until translucent.
  3. Add the cubed beef steak and brown on all sides.
  4. Stir in the beef broth, heavy cream, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Layer the sliced potatoes in a baking dish and pour the beef mixture over them.
  6. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  7. Bake for 45 minutes or until the potatoes are tender and the cheese is bubbly.
