A quick and easy recipe for creamy garlic shrimp that is perfect for a weeknight dinner.

- 1 lb large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3 tbsp butter
- ½ cup Parmesan cheese (freshly grated)
- ¼ cup fresh parsley (chopped)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Season the shrimp with salt and pepper, then sauté for about 3 minutes per side until pink. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of butter and minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream while stirring continuously for even mixing. Allow to simmer for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet, allowing them to simmer in the sauce for another 2 minutes.
- Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
- For a little extra spice, add red pepper flakes to the shrimp while cooking.
- This dish pairs well with pasta or rice.
