Homemade Ranch Dressing

Description

This delicious homemade ranch dressing is perfect for salads, dipping, or as a sauce.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 teaspoons dried dill
  • 1 teaspoon dried chives
  • 2 tablespoons garlic salt
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ½ cup buttermilk
  • 1½ tablespoons ranch dressing mix
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 (4-ounce) can green chilis
  • ½ bunch cilantro leaves (minced)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine the dried dill, dried chives, garlic salt, onion powder, and black pepper. Mix well, then store in a jar or any other airtight container.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise, buttermilk and ranch dressing mix. Whisk until combined.
  3. Transfer the prepared ranch dressing to a blender and add the salsa, green chilis and cilantro. Blend until smooth.
  4. Transfer to a glass jar or airtight container and use immediately or refrigerate for up to 1 week. Enjoy!
