Description

A delicious layered dessert with a crunchy pretzel crust, creamy filling, and fresh strawberries.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups crushed mini pretzels
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for crust)
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (for filling)
  • 8 oz Cool Whip (thawed)
  • 6 oz Jell-O strawberry gelatin
  • 2 cups sliced fresh strawberries
  • 1 cup hot water

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix crushed pretzels, melted butter, and 1/4 cup sugar until combined.
  3. Spread the mixture evenly in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish. Bake for about 10 minutes until golden brown. Let cool completely.
  4. Beat softened cream cheese and 1 cup sugar in a mixing bowl until smooth. Fold in Cool Whip until well combined.
  5. Once the crust has cooled, spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over it.
  6. Dissolve Jell-O in hot water as per package instructions. Stir in sliced strawberries when slightly cooled. Pour over the cream layer.
  7. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

  • Make sure to let the dessert chill for at least 4 hours to set properly.
