Description

Delicious oatmeal cookies made with old-fashioned rolled oats and a blend of sweeteners.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 large egg
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, melt butter and mix with brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the egg and then stir in molasses.
  4. In another bowl, combine oats, flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Gradually mix into wet ingredients.
  5. Fold in raisins and scoop dough onto lined baking sheets.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden brown.
  7. Cool slightly before enjoying!
